Game crashes on startup (Windows 10)

Anyone figure out how to get it to run on a windows 10 laptop yet?

FWIW- after reading some of the comments(mine included) i realized back when i posted to this i didnt have my new gaming pc that im running W10 on.

Wish i could be helpful but i just booted up the game and had no issues. Ran fine, =got to the character creation screen. that said, its a beast of a gaming desktop so for a laptop ive got no clue.

It runs fine on both of my Windows 10 laptops. Most likely it's a corrupt .cfg file. Delete everything inside of:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Basilisk Games\Book 3 Saved Games\

And then restart the game.

Ok I give up I am going to get my cousin to install Linux on a thumb drive and boot up in Linux and play it on that.
