Where am I

As far as I can see there is nowhere on the game screen which actually tells you where you are. You get a message when you enter a region, but that's it. Would be nice to provide a label someplace.

p.s. there is no such place as 'Southern Tanglewood', according to the map screens (but that's where you are told to find an acorn). Other minor gripe - the conversation scripting is a bit one-track .. having been asked to find an acorn you'd expect that you could ask Lilith, or the talking tree, about it (either should know), but actually you get the same pre-canned speech options as before you had that quest.

If you hold down the TAB key you'll see the area you're currently in.

Yep, that works, but it is a bit like 'looking behind the scenes' and breaks the atmosphere. I wanted something that looked like it belonged (and no blue boxes and X/Y coords).

It'll be good if the name of the map is displayed above the automap, but this is "old school" rpg isn't it..

But using "tab" allows you to see the name, so.. i'm guessing it's an open option for the developers.
