Re: 2 questions
SPOILERS:
If you've entered the sewers from the stairway, go southwest from the bottom of the stairs. You'll come to a locked door, which is opened by a key you probably found already.
You need to go to Fletcher's Grove in Wolfenwood. Walk west from Everdale and look for a bucket by the side of the road. It marks a hidden path. You won't be able to see where you're going, but just head north and west until you find it.

SPOILER REPLY:
Oh, good! I was hoping that that branch would turn out to be valuable for something. It certainly looked important, which is why I held onto it.
I'll have to check out that ranger in Fletcher's Grove and see if she does actually show any appreciation for it.
Umm... we are talking about that petrified branch, right?

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

Evnissyen, yes, that petrified branch. She will show you appreciation that your Ranger will appreciate.

Awesome. Ranger to Ranger appreciation is the best!
