I in inadvertently clicked on a chest or something on one of the shops in Port Kulad. The shop owner now attacks me when I go by and I can't speak with them, and complete my quest.
Is there anyway to make peace with a towns person who has decided to attack you?
thank you.

Charm spell or flask of charm cloud usually will do the trick, but there may be some side effects depending upon which game version you are using.

There's also a really, really rare Forgive Me spell. Nobody sells it and it's hard to find, so... generally: restoring to an earlier game is the easiest route.
...Unless you can do what Randomizer suggests . . . haven't tried it, myself, and... once the charm spell wears off, don't they go back to being mad at you? What about the rest of the town?
(Another request for Book 3: an Autosave slot.)

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

Normally neutral/friendly NPCs revert to their natural neutral/friendly state after being charmed. Charm cloud vial or the Charm spell and you'll be right-as-rain.

Great minds think alike!Evnissyen wrote:(Another request for Book 3: an Autosave slot.)
But that's been requested by others, and it's definitely in my Book III 'wishlist'.

Well... I suppose it prevents people from 'accidentally' quickloading a quicksave and thus losing progress.... but that's not much of a problem in other games.

And that could be taken care of by a "Are you sure you want to Quickload this game?" [Yes/No] dialogue box.Evnissyen wrote:Ahuh . . . along with "Where's the damn quickload key!"

Which is fine, as I want a "Are you sure you want to Save this game?" [Yes/No] dialogue box option added to regular game-saving anyway...
