Goblin Citadel

I entered the Goblin Citadel. As I walk down the entrance hall, something activates the gates before me to close; these gate front the room with obelisk and the two switches.

I have been unable to open these gates. I have killed everything on the floor except the spiders in the other room next to the torture; I can't open the spiders' room either.

Ideas on what to do next? I can't go anywhere. Is there a way to reload the Goblin Citadel part again (I am not a techie) so that I can start this part over? Thanks.

There's a switch in the citadel that will open one of the back portcullises. You won't see the gate open when you flip the switch, though.

The way into the area you are looking at (behind the four gates that closed automatically) is somewhat round-about. You have to go to the northwest corner of the Citadel and work your way back. Eventually you will wind up in the room with the spiders that you can see now. After you kill them, you can open a portcullis on the back side of the room you want to enter. Keep searching and don't hesitate to ask for more help............

Did you try exploding the detonation barrels on the East side of the map ? (Arrow, Fireball, etc)
