Ok, I need help here.

I've dowloaded the demo and installed it, but the game wont start, not even the launcher. The launcher window comes up briefly then immediately exits. I think its becuse I don't have a 3d card (new computer, didn't buy a card yet).

I was wondering if its possibleto run/play the demo off of sofware (dirextX), maybe by messing a bit with configuration files and/or fooling the game into thinking it detects a 3D card or something.

Some help woudl be appreciated; I REALLY want to play ths.

Any graphics card or integrated chip from the past 10 years supports 3D. Try installing directx and/or drivers for your card/chipset?

Yea even onboard Intel GMA9XX series video should play fine. Defiantly try updating your drivers and maybe check for the latest version of DirectX.

Yeah, my laptop has an onboard Intel graphics chipset and can play the game fine under DirectX mode. A bit slower than my desktop but certainly more than playable.

Thanks guy's, I got it working. thing is when I got my pc they did not bother to install the video drivers manually, and windows did not install them automatically. So I had to do it myself.
