Are there item qualities only available at high difficulty?

With the bonuses to item quality at higher difficulties, are there any high-quality items or item attributes that are only possible to find at those high difficulties?

The chance of finding items and the quality of finding them improves with high difficulty. Given enough time you should have an equally good chance of finding everything, but you usually won't want to keep waiting for something to appear.

Ok - related question, where are the best places to find highest value random items?

I've noticed that various containers, and dropped loot, have different qualities of items regardless of level. Yet there also certainly seems to be some tracking of quality with level as well.

I'm guessing that containers may give random stuff geared to your level, but with a minimum and maximum level defined as well. Perhaps shops do something similar? Anyone know and want to enlighten us?

That being the case, where can you find the highest level stuff? Particular monster drops? Particular shops?

Shops get better items the more you get into the game, so Eastwillow has the lowest types and Picaroon Island has the best items.

Containers are usually a function of your level when you first examine them. Some places like Westwillow always have low level items. Hammerlorne tends to have the better items especially armor and weapons.

So is there an advantage to entering some places, perhaps like Hammerlorne, at higher levels then?
