Hi, I'm new to this forum. Is there any opportunity to open a Discord channel?
Also, I am a software developer (you can find me at GitHub with the same username: lonevetad) and I wish to contribute to the game, if it's an open source project. I'd like to add my ideas too, but that's more of a dream.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Discord
Hi, welcome lonevetad!
Yes, we are planning to launch an official Discord server for Basilisk Games before we formally announce The Sundered Anvil on Steam and GoG (late end-of-summer time frame). Our summer development push is focused on getting the project far enough along to capture gameplay footage for an announcement trailer.
The project is not currently open source, but we're always open to hearing ideas and feedback from fans during the development process.

Welcome to the forums Lonevetad!
The armies joined in a bloody battle on this fine day, then storm clouds broke, and it rained.
So they all went home.---Story knots within blatherbeards Beard.

Re: Discord
Those are fantastic news!
I'd like to share ideas, also because I'm a Computer Scientist (with a Master Degree) who curated an (unfinished) game engine in Java and studied C++ while attending a PhD in "Swarm Intelligence" (Aggregate Programming).
I loved Diablo 3, Path of Exile and the Game Boy's "The Lord of the Rings" (both 2 and 3), I'd like a more flexible skill tree, item modification system and character cross-creation.
I'd like to help
