Don't know if anyone posted this before,but on my machine,(winxpsp2,radeon x1950gt,catalyst control center newest version),I'm running the game in a 1152x864 window.
It doesn't look as good as the 800x600 window,but not as bad as stretched to 1440x900 either.
What i did:
-In CCC i set everything to maximum quality and let application decide,except anti-aliasing.
-i downloaded d3d windower:

(don't change anything in d3dw,just press the 'plus' sign,add Eschalon,go to 'settings',put in:1152x864 and check 'use windowed mode'),press the 'play' sign in d3dw.
Then run Eschalon Fullscreen,using DirectX.
I think this trick didn't work before,perhaps it's the newest Catalyst drivers
that made this work?

EDIT:I thought i'd let those with winxp and widescreen monitors know,that it now works with ATI Tray Tools,too.Only because i love this game that much
