I've turned "Allow New Registrations" back on in preparation for announcing our next game. Please report spam posts if you see them.

And before you ask "when??" for the new game announcement- I don't know. We are just beginning to work on a media pack including screenshots, logos, videos, press release, etc. which are needed for a proper announcement. Probably closer to late spring/summer before we will be ready.

Looking forward to the official announcement. Will continue my periodic pops in and point out any spambots I catch.

I probably don't need to point out the same spambot account multiple times, though, do I? :?

Will there be a sale on Steam in March for Book II and III or are you going to wait until the announcement?

Book II and III go on sale all the time, almost every time there is a major Steam sale. Also on GOG, they are always including B2 + B3 in some kind of themed sale (adventure/RPG/turn-based, etc). I don't have the dates for the next Steam sale and I don't have a specific date for the announcement of the new game.

What we are doing now:
- Continuing to build new content so that we have real gameplay to record for a trailer, as 90% of the game right now exists as placeholder graphics. Many companies use faked gameplay or rendered trailers for their game announcements, but I want to show actual gameplay.

- We are working with artists (no AI slop) to design titles and logos. This takes a lot of time since we are working with outside artists and even small requests for changes can take 1-2 weeks for turnaround.

- There are dozen of other requirements we have to assemble before we can even request a product ID from Valve to begin putting together a Steam page.

So stay tuned, I'll continue to give you guys regular updates, but we're still a bit early to have a specific announcement date.

Hello!

I just registered to see if Basilisk Games is still making games :D
I really loved the Eschalon (Book 1,2,3) games, but I understand you possibly want to try something new.
Tried Balrum, but it was not as good for some reason...
