The musical notes I hear are 1, 2, or 3 piano notes in quick succession. They are most noticeable in the mines, but I know I have heard them at other places. Seamus can only make armor, sword, and axe, none of very high quality. They all show a value of 50, if I remember correctly.

I went through the witch's lair and crossed the river, came out on the other side. However, I still couldn't open the gate to go further in the lair. I couldn't find a switch and black powder wouldn't do it either. What am I missing?
