you can always get a Lore Master Ring (I think that's the name.. ). It gives you +6 Lore. It manages to do the trick =P it's not that hard to find it nor buy it =P

I never saw neither of them. I am very selective in the treasure chests/ loots I find/get (respectively). I spend some time checking their contents and loading the game until I find one thing that may come in handy (to use or to sell). And I never saw books about short bladed weapons or anyone who ...

I used nefarious axiom in my character and I only noticed the malice attack in physical damage. I use some magic attacks but I never saw them affected by this special attack. At least that is my experience, I cannot assure you that it's correct. =P

yeah, a good goblin. if you enter whispering cave and get a location near the center of the map to NW direction, you'll find a "room" (it's a natural chamber with a door). There you'll find Gruzz and if you are "nice" to him, he will tell you a thing which may came in handy =P

that's not the only case.. the same happens when you select the " [attack] " answer when speaking with Gruzz, the (good) goblin hidden in the whistling cave.. =\

It's a bit difficult to know your location in Eversleep =\ look at your map and tell me how far are you from the center of the map and in which direction. That way I might know how to help you there =P

Now about the woman looking for her husband... if she got killed, nothing can be done about it ...
